What are your products made of?
Our products are made of high-fire ceramics; commonly known as stoneware. Its main characteristic is resistance and durability compared to other materials, due to the firing process which reaches up to +2,336 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven. They can be used in conventional ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers without major problems.
Each piece is 100% handmade; from kneading the ceramic clay, turning it on the lathe to glazing, which gives it unique colors and characteristics.
All materials and glazes used are food grade.
Do they need any care or maintenance?
Like any piece for decorative or food use, it is recommended to be careful when handling the piece since, although stoneware has greater resistance, it does not exempt it from being damaged by colliding or scraping with other elements. Do not expose directly to fire.
Why are the items (plates, cups, etc.) I received not exactly the same as each other?
Our production process is 100% artisanal (handmade) which may be reflected in variations from piece to piece; whether in size, color, brightness or other;we do not consider this a defect but rather a quality that makes them unique.
